The Boat
Tropical Soul is a Lagoon 410 (owners version) which was built in 2000 and first commissioned in 2001 in San Francisco. Her owners Jeff & Deb Eastman owned her until 2007 when Ted Timmins flew to the US and purchased her. The boats original name was Bebe L'amour.
After fitting her with many extra bits of gear Ted, with a crew of 2, sailed Tropical Soul to Australia over a 12 week period. The weather was kind to them and they were able to achieve a few 200nm days.
In August of 2008 Saundra and I purchased her from Ted and took her from the Noosa River to Mooloolaba Marina where we renamed her Tropical Soul and undertook an extensive upgrade of her many systems.
For the last three years we have cruised aboard Tropical Soul to some wonderful places and have met many other cruisers, some of whom will remain life long friends I am sure.
